We can only build muscle by working against something stronger than us! We resist against the force and sooner or later, as our muscles get stronger, we find we are no longer struggling against it, it feels easy and more comfortable!
The key is to not give up! Keep at it and notice ourselves making progress, however small. When working out in a gym we can monitor this quite easily, by simply noticing how we are having to increase the weights we are working with. We can also visibly see the muscles get stronger and bigger each week and it feels good!
Changing certain habits are certainly challenging whatever they may be! And we certainly FEEL the resistance and the results may be slow to come. But perseverance and keeping the end goal in mind works a treat.
