Directions to The Healers Grove

To avoid the narrow country lane from the Denham side, Slade Oak Lane can be approached from Joiners Lane, Chalfont St Peter, the entrance to which can be found off A413. The house is positioned on an unmarked private road, between a house called The Pillars (opposite side) and a house called Inwood (same side). The turning into the house is on the left as you drive up to the gate at the top.

Summer Yoga begins here at The Healers Grove

Summer is here and I am delighted to have this wonderful new venue to start my Saturday morning Summer yoga classes. The Healers Grove is ideal for our Summer practice as we can choose to do our yoga outside in the beautiful gardens, listening to the birds and enjoying the warmth of the sunshine.

Individual Attention and Care for Each Student

All my classes have a maximum number of 12 students and this means that every one of my students receives the care and attention needed to practise safely and make their own progress. The drop-in class allows you to pop in whenever you like and is a great way to enjoy where possible a second yoga class each week. Summer is all about stretching to your maximum and doing as much yoga as possible.

New To Yoga

If you are new to yoga and feeling a little self conscious then please do not worry as most of my students have started that way and within a matter of weeks feel confident and comfortable in their practice. We start with the basics and very soon you realise how natural the postures feel to you, it's not like you are learning something very different.

More Advanced Students

My more adept students are supported to maintain their level and encouraged to 'stretch' themselves further if they so choose. No one feels restricted in any way and there is no age limit.

I encourage the more adept students to practice their inversion postures, hand stands, head stands and shoulder stands each week and stretch themselves in every way and as much or as little as they like and everyone really enjoys a physical challenge now and then which keeps the class focused and lively and fun.

Working Together

The fun in the class is all about working together and enjoying the challenge of the postures, encouraging each other to do their best and practise as often as possible.

Everyone works at their own level, safely and with precision. That's the Iyengar style and way.

Please Book online for your individual class or Contact Me to pay via Bank Transfer each week.
